Step by step to create number chart

Number charts are an amazing tool to help the little ones get familiar with numbers. They use it to easily add numbers together and slowly get familiar with the sequences until they can do it without the chart altogether.

If you’re trying to buy a number chart, why don’t you create your own instead. It really doesn’t have to be that difficult.

Best of all in can be a project you can involve the little one in. He can color or help you cut (if you have child-safe scissors).

I recommend you use some thick paper, (much thicker than average posters), which is good because my daughters are using it to learn their numbers. Because of this, it is hung low so they can point at certain numbers. It’s standing the test of time with twin toddlers. That’s a good product in my book.

You want to think about the size of the chart. I like 8×10, this is a great size and easy to teach with, but if you have good supply of thick paper, you can go bigger than that and make a wall poster out of it.

How Teachers can Alphabet Chart for Kids

The other day I saw an alphabet chart for sale at Amazon and I set out to create my own. It came out really nice.

My 3 year old and I love the chart. It is a good size and a good learning tool. My only complaint is that it arrived damaged. The box it came in was not very sturdy and the poster was very bent and wrinkled when it arrived.

Very good alphabet poster for the price. Images are attractive and colors are warm and appealing. This is not laminated poster rather just a poster from thick paper with a protective covering.

My son loves to point at the letters on this chart and name them. Ours arrived undamaged, but also packed very loosely in a box with another item. Overall, this chart serves its purpose.

It was an innexpensive chart and it still was able to serve it’s purpose, so I definitely didn’t want to return it. My daughter is more interested in the letters and sounds and able to connect them to the pictures. So overall, I’m pleased.
